Tis the season to be jolly.......

Ho ho ho....... i'm spending the last few minutes of my X'mas typing away at my keyboard and listening to Diana Kralls Xmas jazz album..... and it's really pretty good man=)

Haha its kinda hard to believe that this is the 1st Xmas in 3 yrs that im spending as a civillian. 2002,2003 and 2004 were all sadly spent as a NSF(national serviceman fulltime) haha.....

Well this yr since i finally get to celebrate xmas as a civillian, i finally got off my lazy ass to write xmas cards. You know, it never fails to amaze me how cheap the postage system is in SG man. I mean for live a measely 23cents, they will pick up your letter from some obscure mailbox along the road and send it all the way to the addressed receipient. 23 cents!! man thats not even enuff to buy a drink.......

Another thing that always amazes me is the library system. I mean for ZERO dollars you get to borrow 4 books for 3 weeks.... and after you're done wif em, you return them and borrow new ones! For nothing! Admittedly the public libs system is funded by taxpayers money, but man im still pretty amazed at what they've managed to do with the whole electronicised library system. I mean less than a decade ago they still had the old system of chopping and stamping and library cards.....

And of cos nowadays since they've managed to start squeezing libraries into shopping centres there are a lot more regional libs, but of cos these modernised shopping center libs dont really have the "old charm" of the old ones liao.... and the new national library? Ok i'll admit its nice looking..... but for some reason it just lacks that old rustic charm of the old library..... but well ok thats enuff digresssing=p

Man soon the hols are gonna be over sighz=( In another week i'll be moving back to campus, and when sch reopens its back to "zhou sans" every morning at the canteen at 7:45...... oh well all you guys enjoy the last bits of your hols man!!

Merry Xmas and have a happy new year!!
