Gotta Lurve Gp Posting

Hey hey, its been awhile since I've posted. Tuck and som graciously holding the fort haha. 3 cheers for Tuck and Som! Anyway with surg and med postings behind us, can finally take a long breather... oh wait we've got pharm one month from now. Dang. Well that kinda still leaves us with our christmas break right? Wait patho on the second day of the new year you say? Bahumbug ;P

GP posting in geylang is pretty hillarious. I mean how often do you see 1/3rd of the patients that enter your clinic go "Doc I got cough la. Need cough syrup. Just cough syrup ah, 2 big bottles okay? I buying for my mother and father also" or "Doc I cant sleep. Very very bad. Last two nights i thinking alot. No lah no need anything la, just give me something to sleep can already... Got dormicum?" Then of course you have your fair share of "hot chicks" walking in, making the clinic really gaudy and colorful indeed. The best patient of the day was probably seen as we were walking back from lunch...

Yeaps hands down the cutest patient of the day. Sadly she forgot to take her queue number so she probably spent the whole day waiting for the doc. Poor kitty. Well its back to my daily 9.30am - 4.30 pm routine. =P Have fun in ortho or psyche or whereever the rest of you peoplez are ;P It certainly rocks over here =P

Have faith!

I think although I'm super worried for my whole medicine posting because of the lack of cases seen (I apologize to ppl posted at AH for my insensitivity) and the chui tutors that I have except for one who is damm good at presentation, I should have faith in myself.

I cannot deny the fact that I'm jealous of others who have super good tutors who look for cases for them.

But.. hell yeah man.. at the end of the day.. all it matters in the exam room is the examiner, patient and my fear. Just whack!!

Hell YEAH!!!

Too much time but not enuff time

You know in movies and MTVs people always die either from epistaxis or hemoptasis. In the old days it always usually meant TB, but thanks to the BCG jab and the increase in environmental carcinogens it usually means something like lung cancer nowadays, or even lymphoma(esp if its a young dying antagonist)

I guess maybe its because all these are prob very "romantic" diseases eh? You know someone should just change the trend and have characters with like GI cancers instead. So you can have people dying from masssive rectal bleeds instead. So much more drama then blood on a hankie.

Ok im going mad from worrying about medicine end of posting test...... man im so screwed.....
